State of Play October 2021: Everything Announced

Sony’s latest State of Play presentation aired earlier today, and with it came plenty of updates for third-party games coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Besides giving us our first big look at Little Devil Inside since June 2020, a brand new Star Ocean game called Star Ocean: The Divine Force is headed to PS4 and PS5 next year.

New Gameplay Shown for Little Devil Inside

Little Devil Inside was originally announced at the June 2020 PS5 reveal event, and today we finally got a look at some gameplay. We saw brief glimpses of cooking, hunting, and combat, but we didn’t get a release date just yet.

Bugsnax: The Isle of Bigsnax Is a Free Update to One of PS5’s Weirdest Games

Young Horses is adding a free, major update to Bugsnax on PS5 early next year. In this update, the bugsnax from the main game are much bigger. The expansion takes place on a new island that appeared from the bottom of the ocean, and there will be at least a dozen new Bugsnax to catch.

Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach Launches Later This Year

The latest game in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series is coming on December 16. A new trailer gave us a great look at some of the game’s terrifying animatronics and the classic security camera gameplay.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force Announced for PS4 and PS5

The latest entry in the long-running Star Ocean franchise is coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2022. The game is an action RPG featuring two main characters, among other party members. The trailer showed combat and exploration, the main party’s spaceship, a huge city, and more.

Death’s Door Comes to PlayStation Next Month

This year’s acclaimed indie action hit Death’s Door is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 next month. The game will launch on November 23.

Deathverse Is a New Battle Royale Set in the Let It Die Universe

Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo’s free-to-play Let It Die universe is getting a new entry with Deathverse. The game features PvPvE combat, crazy weapons, and character customization.

King of Fighters XV Beta Starts Next Month

The latest entry in the long-running King of Fighter series is getting an open beta from November 19th to November 22nd. The beta includes 8 playable fighters, with online matches and an offline training mode. The beta will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

First Class Trouble Is a Mafia-Like Game Coming to PlayStation Plus

In First Class Trouble, a group of players work together to try and escape a cruise ship, but two of them are secretly trying to sabotage the team. From November 2 to December 6, PS Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS5 can download the game for no additional cost.

We Are OFK Coming to PS5 and PS4 in 2022

We Are OFK follows the lives of indie pop band OFK in a story-based adventure. The game follows the band members’ career, love lives, and more. In addition to the game, the band’s EP also drops next year.
